Javara: A Changing Tide for Clinical Research

Over 28 years ago, I began my work in clinical research at a small research site. It was there that I was introduced to the inner workings of clinical research and discovered my passion. In my role, I experienced firsthand the impact of clinical research for a patient participating in a trial, while also seeing treatments come to market that once sat on the shelf at our research site. Now, over 28 years after beginning my journey in the industry I am ready to embark on a new part of my voyage, while continuing my personal mission of finding a way to better conduct research and make it accessible for all. Now is the time for Javara.

Javara is the Hindi word for “tide”. Tides are associated with highs and lows. Clinical research is an industry with purpose, but not immune to similar highs and lows. Through these experiences and challenging times, it is about resilience. Never forgetting our passion and purpose to serve the needs of patients– people.

We aim to be a visionary. We see an opportunity to advance our collective impact, that is, bridging the gap between drug development and healthcare.

We aim to be a visionary. We see an opportunity to advance our collective impact, that is, bridging the gap between drug development and healthcare. These ecosystems historically operate separate and apart from one another. We believe they can and will be better together.

Our team is excited about the launch of Javara, an Integrated Research Organization (IRO) that will make a difference through the vision, expertise and commitment of a team of clinical research leaders. Our team is comprised of highly skilled, long-time clinical research experts working alongside new talent to better the clinical research services industry.

There’s a saying that goes, “it’s good to be better, but better to be different”. Javara is different.

Welcome Javara!
