Peter Lafer is a Principal at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the firm’s Life Sciences sector. Before joining General Atlantic in 2018, Peter was a Principal at EW Healthcare Partners, a healthcare-focused growth equity firm. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the Healthcare Group.
Peter is on the Board of Life Sciences Cares New York and previously served on the Board of Planned Parenthood of New York City. He received his B.A. in Classical Studies from Duke University before earning his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
